Services
We are passionate about providing ethical and competent treatment services. We provide general mental health services and specialized services for child, adolescent, and adult attachment and trauma needs.
Our Services
Child and Adolescent Therapy
I work with children and young adults (aged 2 to 18) with behavioral issues, depression, trauma, attachment, and anxiety. I work with chronic trauma and neglect, with children in foster care, adoption, reunification services, and attachment disorder such as reactive attachment disorder.
Family Therapy
I provide therapy services to help families work through relational distress and conflict. Family therapy can be in addition to individual services that are provided elsewhere. Family therapy targets the negative interactions between family members to create positive connections. Family therapy can help repattern attachment issues/insecurities.
couples therapy
I help couples improve trust, communication, security, and emotional safety in ways that are collaborative rather than confrontational. My approach is rooted in attachment theory but my goal is to provide an environment where couples can discuss and resolve their issues with empathy and understanding.
lgbt + therapy
I teach LGBT+ individuals and their families how to connect after coming out. In cases where religion is a main concern (as is often the case), I look to balance a family’s belief systems with the LGBT+ individual’s well-being.
parenting
I help parents create a home environment that is conducive to their children’s physical, mental, social, and psychological well-being. As parents we learn by what we were taught and sometimes we have relearn things to better understand and connect with our children. We offer the Nurturing Parenting Program from a certified provider.
co-parenting
I teach separated parents how raise children in a way that encourages cooperation and mutual respect. When working with ex-spouses, I emphasize the need for them to work towards shared objectives for the betterment of their children.
parenting with a chemical dependency
I help parents with chemical dependencies work through their substance use so that they may raise their children responsibly. When working with parents with an addiction, this also coincides with parenting education and collaboration with Department for Community-Based Services (DCBS) and family court.
a note on family evaluations
Family evaluations examine parental capacity, adult attachment history, and child-parent interaction. There are NO interventions conducted during the evaluation period.
The typical evaluation period lasts 4 to 6 weeks and it is NOT reimbursable through insurance. Family and attachment evaluations must be court ordered. This is a specialty services and on a case by case basis.
With services I follow the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT) Code of Ethics.

Intake fee ranges from 100-150.00.
Standard sessions range from 50-100 depending on the service.
We do bill Wellcare Medicaid, Anthem Medicaid, Passport Medicaid, and Aetna Better Health of Ky Medicaid. We are In-Network with Optum/United Health Care; however depending on the plan we may not bill the insurance and give you a superbill to turn into your insurance company for reimbursement. To determine eligibility it is up to you to contact your insurance company and have resolved before coming into the office. Billing insurance and reimbursement is contingent on medical necessity.
