I work with clients to understand the patterns that create problems within their lives and produce real, meaningful change. Let’s work together to help you unlock your potential to live your best life.
Individual, couple, and family therapy services tailored to your needs
who we are
We are a small but elite team of dedicated individuals. We are passionate about mental health, especially in the context of relationships.
We provide clinical services within our scope of practice. We have providers across disciplines but all follow a Code of Ethics, state laws and regulations. We want to provide quality services tailored to the needs of the people in rural Ky.
what we do
We help children, couples, and families improve their mental, emotional, relational, and behavioral health through clinical treatment services. We also provide consultations, speaking engagements, workshops, and presentations on a range of clinical issues.
Since I work mainly from an attachment framework, this makes our relationship the key to change. I empathize with my clients (adults and children) but also challenge my clients so they can increase their well-being and achieve a higher level of self. I work intensely with clients so that I can give them the care and attention they need to reach their therapeutic goals.
I am an integrative therapist, meaning I utilizes multiple models and interventions to best fit my client’s needs. I am rooted in attachment, family systems, and interpersonal neurobiology theories to shape interventions which include cognitive restructuring, emotional regulation, and relational changes. These theories and interventions are adapted to the needs of the client, which can be expressed in play therapy, family therapy, or individual therapy.
who we serve
We will try to help anyone who comes through the door and if we can’t, we will help find someone who care.
My heart really belongs to play and sandtray therapy. I work often with children and families that have been through traumatic experiences including abuse, neglect, divorce, grief. I strongly believe that family structure and safe relationships are key to living a healthy and happy life but also recovering from trauma. I not only work with children and families but also couples and individual adult therapy. With adults, I help clients understand how their upbringing is impacting their present, their relationship patterns, and finding their true identity. Carrie is a new therapist, but she’s getting her sea legs quickly! She works mainly with adults, individually and couple, working through addictive behaviors and trauma.
Our Reviews
“Jennifer Hayes has such a charisma with children of all ages. She cares about them for she is non-threatening. Children are smart! They know she is there for them. She is their advocate working to help them thrive. Children like what they experience in the presence of Jennifer. She coaches them to move forward in life. She helps them to reach for their challenges and master them. In children’s eyes, she is close to being magical. They heal! They light up! Parents learn how to realize their deepest longing for their children. That they are happy, have many friends, be a contributing member of the community, and much more. For their children, parents can feel good about themselves and know that their children are on the way to finding joy in everyday living. Jennifer has a warm heart, bringing out the best in children.“

The most informed research on communication is with psychologist John Gottman and his colleagues (Crooks & Baur, 2017). Through several multi-method research studies Gottman and his colleagues built a database focused on married couples. There were a number of...
